My approach
“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”
Joseph Campbell
Getting to know yourself, all of yourself, is a powerful act. In fact, I believe it is the foundation for building a life that nourishes, delights and inspires you. Unfortunately, this type of self-exploration is not a simple task. When we are children, it isn’t safe for us to be who we are. There are parts of us that our parents and communities welcome and other parts that they reject. We learn to focus on the parts of us that we are told are loveable, and to hide the other parts, even from ourselves. This helps us survive, but it forces us to disconnect from our true feelings and longings. The life we build from this place is often not a life we fully value, and it becomes hard for us to be present and alive in each moment when so much of what we’re truly experiencing must be kept hidden. In this way, a lack of self-knowledge and self-connection is often the source of much of our dissatisfaction with life. That’s why a large part of our work together will focus on helping you retrieve the hidden and lost parts of yourself so that you can get to know, and befriend, all of who you are.
How do we do this? The good news is, it happens kind of naturally, as long as we stay embodied. In our sessions, we work with your goals and interest and address whatever is coming up in the moment. It may be a feeling, a thought, an impulse, a sensation, a conflict or issue you are having in your life or a goal you want help with. Whatever it is, we take the time to get curious about your present-moment experience. We move slowly and use our combined resources and knowledge. To guide us forward, I apply a variety of modalities including exercises and principles from Core Energetics, meditation and body work. For example, I may use meditative suggestions or simple physical exercises (e.g., pump your hands, stomp your feet, breathe deeply) to help you connect to body sensations or to help you soothe your nervous system. I may also share different tools with you (e.g., tools for relating to your inner child or to different conflicting parts of yourself, tips for tolerating big feelings). We use these tools and modalities to help us move toward embodied present-moment awareness.
Every moment we spend in true embodied presence is a moment in which we are getting to know the real you. With time and very gently and lovingly, we find out your real longings, your real needs, your wounds and defenses, how your nervous system works and more. When you are connected to all these different parts of yourself, life starts to feel more vibrant, more exciting, more real. You get more aliveness, more energy, more intimacy, more connection, more knowledge, more genuine power, more pleasure. You stop fighting life and start experiencing it.

About me
Originally from Montreal, the daughter of first generation Greek immigrants, I moved to Toronto in 2011, where I now live with my husband and two young kids.
Inner work and self-development have always been a big part of my life. My fascination with the mind and how psychology impacts well-being led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, I worked one-on-one with clients and in groups as a psychiatric Occupational Therapist.
I have also experienced many different types of therapeutic modalities as a client. In the past five years, I have been working with a Core Energetics practitioner. This work has been the most impactful and transformative I’ve ever encountered and it has inspired me to pursue training to become a Certified Core Energetics Practitioner. In the fall, I’ll be entering my second year of training in Core Energetics.
I know firsthand what it feels like to not have a strong sense of self, to not know what you’re feeling, what you want, how to make decisions, how to say what you mean. I also know how much your experience of life can shift when you take the time and effort to connect to yourself deeply. Self-connection brought me to life, so I know it can do the same for you.
